about
Underground, under the radar
Lost & found, no straight & no gaydar
We’re comin’ out wearin’ our make up
We have positions that we gotta take up
One in a backroom and one in a bank
Andy to bitch at and Andy to thank
And then there was Lulu – what happened to him?
He works for his father, Oh, Jesus, Oh, Jim
Underground, under the radar
My sonar is down, I’m relying on gaydar
I want to climb into the cover of Loaded
Down in the subway, it’s all electrode
Into my brain, don’t pull back the fader
Until I explain I’m under the radar
Same scenes past 20 years
Same scenes past 30 years
Still I try to work and play hard
I live my life right under the radar
Still I try to work and play hard
Live my life right under the radar

Most of these songs were available on the 1995 "Yes darling, but is it Art?" CD release. I'm assuming the masters are gone, which is fine if you do a good transfer from the original records. When I saw these were remastered, I was looking forward to some light de-clicking and removal of rumble from the original transfers. This isn't the case. Instead they added some weird super loud "tape hiss" for lack of a better term, and it makes it sound harsh. Very disappointed in the "remastering". numanoid1979
