I go to a lot of parties where a double album with a white cover and lots of Warhola coke bottles gets pulled out someone's record cabinet and flung on once the party cruises into the wee small hours. Great to hear and pretty sumptuous to look at, sort of an uptown Athena poster take on a VU theme. It’s just called The Velvet Underground.

Tower blocks looming like Leith’s austere Cairngorm and Grampian high-rises behind them but in my head Dakota Building-Gothic, shrouded in unknowable mists of 20 years.
